As the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degreed nursing professionals continues to identify their roles in health care, the need for scholarly demonstration of contributions increases.
This conference aims to provide a forum for advanced practice nurses, leaders, policy makers, and scholars to further explore DNP competencies that can influence health care practice, delivery and patient outcomes. Elements and environments of education, research and policy as well as future trends will be explored.
Doctors of Nursing Practice, Inc. (DNP, Inc.) in its effort to showcase the Doctor of Nursing role in nursing science and national healthcare delivery agenda, enthusiastically invites you to submit an abstract for either Podium or Poster presentatiion for the Fifth National Doctors of Nursing Practice Conference.
2012 Doctors of Nursing Practice Fifth National Conference: Evidence-Based DNP Education
Conference Objectives:
1. Identify how DNP graduates are addressing current health care delivery issues
2. Describe nursing practice doctorate outcomes in clinical, research, leadership, eduation and policy
3. Define evidence-based DNP teaching themes that reflect the abilities of graduates to impact nursing education outcomes
4. Identify exceptional contributions to the discipline of nursing specific to improved outcomes as a result of the DNP degree
The overall thrust of this year's theme is an exploration and demonstration of how DNPs are influencing nursing education. Abstract submissions that reflect a collaborative effort with a PhD prepared colleague will receive the highest consideration.
Final selections will be based on the quality and clarity of the abstract, study specific abstract contents, as well as relevance of the described content to conference theme.
Submission Deadline: Podium submissions closed. Abstracts for POSTER presentations ONLY must be submitted no later than midnight April 30, 2012. Late submissions will not be reviewed.
