Report Urges Full Practice Authority Nationwide to Support Health Care Equity, Access

AUSTIN, TEXAS — The American Association of Nurse Practitioners^® (AANP), the largest association for nurse practitioners (NPs) of all specialties, lauds the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) for its report, “The Future of Nursing: Charting a Path to Achieve Health Equity,” issued in collaboration with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. AANP calls on policymakers and health systems to move swiftly to implement the report’s recommendations.
