Alan Skipper, DNP, APRN Dr. Alan W. Skipper is an assistant professor of Nursing at Georgia Southern University. In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Skipper actively practices as a Nurse Practitioner at The Hearts and Hands Clinic, a free clinic for underinsured residents of rural Bulloch county, Georgia. Purpose The purpose of this presentation is to inform APRNs and APRN faculty healthcare inequalities which may be experienced by sexual and gender minorities as a result of null curriculum with schools of nursing.
