Jessica Dial, DNP, APRN
Jessica Evilyn Dial just graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in May 2020. She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree in 2012 from Radford University in Radford, VA. She is in interested in primary care, diabetes education, cardiology, and improving population health.

Purpose
The purpose of this presentation is to share how a quality improvement project utilizing an academic detailing approach can improve metformin prescribing behaviors in a primary care setting.
