Melody Faux, DNP, RN
Dr. Melody Faux has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2007 in family medicine, pediatrics, and for the past six years, in the college health setting. Screening for Eating Disorders in the College-Age Male Athlete is the culmination of her years of experience in clinical practice, caring for individuals with eating disorders, and her DNP scholarly project. Dr. Faux also serves as an Adjunct Faculty member for Simmons University, Purdue Global, and the University of Maine. She resides on the coast of Maine with her husband and together they raise and harvest oysters on the Great Salt Bay.

Purpose
To increase health care providers’ awareness of eating disorders in the college-age male athlete.
