The Doctors of Nursing Practice Foundation has been created to assist nursing colleagues in realizing their plans to impact health care delivery. Many scholarly projects are lacking the support needed to make an idea a sustainable reality. The intent of the DNP Foundation is to assist in these efforts to improve outcomes.
Doctors of Nursing Practice, Inc. is a non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving outcomes by enhancing and improving the practice of the doctoral prepared nurse. All donations are 100% tax deductible according to IRS Code section 170.
This foundation began its work in the second quarter of 2015 with the strategy of soliciting donations to be awarded beginning the third quarter of 2016. The first fund raising effort took place at the 8th National DNP Conference in Seattle, September 2015. Please be a part of this process by making a tax-deductible donation that will support the efforts of the DNP prepared scholar. The intent is to impact health outcomes through a project that reflects the education and expertise of the DNP prepared professional nurse in all categories of practice. The application for grants will open July 1, 2016. Anticipated awards will be between $500 and $1000 to support the doctoral prepared scholar in completing and/or implementing their work.
