Post-Master’s DNP Track: Clinical doctorate designed for nurses who already have a specialty as an NP or CNS. Alternative plans of study available for nurses with a non-nursing bachelor’s degree, and for nurses with an MSN degree in a non-NP or non-CNS specialty. These students should apply to the post-baccalaureate DNP track Post-Baccalaureate DNP Track: 3 specialties include Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology NP, Adult-Gerontology CNS. MSN awarded after completing 57-59 credit hours and 600-720 clinical hours. DNP awarded after completing 22 additional credit hours and 420 additional clinical hours. UCF College of Nursing’s Baccalaureate and Master’s in Nursing programs are CCNE accredited. DNP accreditation is pending. |
