  1. Evaluate the effectiveness of a two-day workshop in improving the confidence in clinical decision-making skills and clinical knowledge levels of graduating nurse practitioner students in general.
  2. Determine if the workshop is particularly beneficial for NP students from underserved communities or programs with limited clinical rotation opportunities who may experience lower clinical confidence levels.
  3. Test the hypothesis that a two-day workshop focused on clinical decision-making skills for the most commonly seen chief complaints in primary care will improve the confidence in clinical decision-making skills and clinical knowledge levels of graduating NP students, with a particular emphasis on NP students from underserved communities or programs with limited clinical rotation opportunities.
