- Evaluate the effectiveness of a two-day workshop in improving the confidence in clinical decision-making skills and clinical knowledge levels of graduating nurse practitioner students in general.
- Determine if the workshop is particularly beneficial for NP students from underserved communities or programs with limited clinical rotation opportunities who may experience lower clinical confidence levels.
- Test the hypothesis that a two-day workshop focused on clinical decision-making skills for the most commonly seen chief complaints in primary care will improve the confidence in clinical decision-making skills and clinical knowledge levels of graduating NP students, with a particular emphasis on NP students from underserved communities or programs with limited clinical rotation opportunities.
