Karen Johnson, PhD, APRN
Dr. Karen Johnson is an Associate Professor of Nursing and Graduate Coordinator in the Irene Ransom Bradley School of Nursing at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. She teaches Tools for Practice Scholarship, DNP Scholarly Project, Nurse Residency, and the Primary Care courses in the DNP program as well as Adult Medical-Surgical Nursing in the BSN program. In addition to teaching, she maintains a faculty practice as a family nurse practitioner in rural primary care clinics in southeast Kansas.

Purpose
The purpose of this presentation is to inform the reader of quality improvement changes that were implemented in a Doctor of Nursing Practice Program.
