Karen A. Bocchicchio, DNP, APRN Karen is actively practicing as an Advanced Practice Nurse in a busy family practice in New Jersey for the last 11 years. She recently completed the DNP program at Rutgers University-Camden in 2023. She has been married for 27 years and has 2 adult children.

Objectives

1. Increase awareness of the need for additional mental health screening.
2. Recognize the need to have a protocol that incorporates health screening for depression, anxiety, and ADHD in primary care.
3. Recognize the need for a repository of referrals and treatments for use by the PCP and patients in primary care.
